At a Glance
A leader in learning for over 37 years, TEI has evolved to meet the needs of its stakeholders in over 40 Federal agencies through expansion of services and audience becoming a sought after shared service provider of leadership development for GS-14s, GS-15 and SES. We focus on helping successful leaders enrich their leadership and professional skills to strengthen their agencies.
Our leadership development programs align with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Executive Core Qualifications (ECQ) and their supporting competencies, as well as, cutting edge themes. We offer in person as well as streamed, blended, and on-demand sessions bringing programs directly to the desktops of busy executives and leaders. In addition, TEI’s provides coaching, a powerful tool for any leader or manager seeking to develop others and maximize performance and engagement within an organization. TEI also provides coach training aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for federal leaders who are interested in bringing coaching to their organizations and beyond.
Our History
On February 25, 1983, the Treasury Secretary established the Treasury Executive Institute to serve Treasury’s SES learning and networking needs. In 2002, TEI became interagency; and in 2014, TEI joined the Treasury Franchise Fund, becoming a shared service. The GS-14 and GS-15 employees of our partner agencies are also now part of TEI.
